>Autumn Wisdom

>autumn wisdom

Hi All

As you all know this week marked the start of Autumn (fall) so our wisdom this week celebrates that.

i have chosen the lyrics from a song called Forever Autumn By Moody Blues

There are three lines in which really stand out for me, but my favourite is

“I watch the birds fly south across the Autumn sky”

so this is my chosen wisdom i hope everyone is ok with this.

now as my picture demonstates i have a vial element of the quote missing but i am going to keep trying to take another picture over the weekend. (see group album)

The full words of the song are:

The summer sun is fading as the year grows old
And darker days are drawing near
The winter winds will be much colder
Now you’re not here

I WATCH the birds fly south across the Autumn sky
And one by one they DISAPPEAR
I wish that I was flying WITH them
Now you’re not here

Like the SUN through the trees you came to love me
Like a leaf on the breeze you blew away

Through Autumn’s golden gown we used to kick our way
You always loved this time of year
Those fallen leaves lie undisturbed now
Cause you’re not here (x3)
(Instrumental break)
Like the SUN through the trees you came to love me
Like a leaf on the breeze you blew away

A gentle rain falls softly on my weary eyes
As if to hide a lonely tear
My life will be forever Autumn
Cause you’re not here (3x)
(Instrumental break)
Cause you’re not here (3x)
(short instrumental)
Cause you’re not here, (fade out)
